Shaping the way communities grow and thrive

We welcome the Isovist team into the Objective family.

Fresh off the heels of the Objective Build for Australia announcement last month, today I am pleased to share another step forward in our journey to help government shape the way communities grow and thrive. Objective has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Isovist (subject to customary closing conditions) — a company that like us, is committed to innovative solutions in the digital Planning and Building space.

We’ve been deliberate in building our Planning & Building capability over the past decade. We’ve worked closely with our customers and developed platforms that help streamline planning and development so that they can deliver built environments that align to community needs, environmental sustainability, and economic growth.

The Isovist team shares that same focus and commitment. They’ve demonstrated that their product is not only compelling — it’s innovative and comes from a deep understanding of the planning process itself. Built with empathy for council teams and shaped by hands-on experience, their solution fits naturally into Objective’s portfolio.

Based on a powerful plan viewer interface, the Isovist solution directly links a property to the relevant elements of the local planning regulations. This helps councils, property owners and developers know the specific planning regulations that apply to a site to make rapid assessments of planned works.

We welcome the Isovist team into the Objective family. Their expertise, culture and product, strengthen what we offer the communities we serve — and they’ll play a key role as we continue to invest in solutions that support the future of e-planning.

To the Isovist team: Welcome! We’re really excited to have you with us. And we’re sure you’ll find committed, like-minded colleagues to collaborate with here at Objective.

To our employees: thank you for the industry knowhow, drive, and commitment that has brought us to this point.

To our customers and partners: we’re just getting started.
