Transforming the building consent process

Objective Build’s role in enhancing transparency, efficiency and customer satisfaction for Hutt City Council

Prior to using Objective Build, Hutt City Council were relying on a paper-based, inefficient workflow to process building consents. Their customers had little visibility over the progress of their consent applications, and correspondence was done by various means, including emails, phone calls or visits to their front desk.

By implementing Objective Build, the council and client can now enjoy visibility and transparency. Customers can track the progress of their applications, see what inspections have been carried out and access their documents in one place. Objective Build also guides applicants in providing the correct information required by council, streamlining the consenting process and resulting in improved efficiency and fewer customer complaints.

Objective Build has improved the consenting process. By making it accessible to the customers, they can see where they are with the process. And the same with the staff here, it's easier to receive the documents and then check them.
